Meteora is an extraordinary place, a testament to the harmonious coexistence of man and nature. By far, the best way to appreciate the power of the natural forces that shaped this breathtaking landscape is by walking right into it.
They represent a unique artistic achievement and are one of the most powerful examples of the architectural transformation of a site into a place of retreat, meditation, and prayer.

We will also visit Kalambaka, the town that guards the approach to the Meteora, which was burned to the ground by the Nazis in WWII.

DAY 1

Delphi was the center of earth and the universe for Ancient Greeks. Famous for its theater, the Temple of Apollo, and its ancient ruins, Delphi was considered the navel of the world and played a very important role in the classical ancient Greek world. We visit the archaeological site and the Temple of Apollo, famous for its oracle.

Meteora

DAY 2

Upon arrival, we head towards Meteora, and Unesco Heritage Site, for a guided historical and mythical tour of some of the most spectacular cliff-top monasteries of the Orthodox faith.
